PK grew up in central Pennsylvania where the suburbs met cornfields.  Summers were spent playing in the woods, swimming in the creek, and constructing lego masterpieces on the occasional rainy day.  Exploration and discovery have been a constant driver that helped him build a diverse skill set that include stagecraft, historic preservation, cabinetmaking, and some chicken wrangling.

Most recently, after years of working from home and raising two great kids, he earned his Master of Architecture from NC State University.  He spends his free time roller skating with the family, walking the local trails, and he recently took up playing the drums, much to the chagrin of his family.
